Leading in the Age of COVID-19

    By Liz Bywater | Thought Leadership | Comments are Closed | 19 March, 2020 | 0

Let’s be honest. None of us has lived through anything quite like this. It’s global. It’s serious. It’s frightening. It has broad, profound implications for the way we approach business, hone, and civic life. And, to be sure, the ripples and repercussions won’t soon fade.

Leaders, know this: Your team needs you now more than ever.

They need your guidance, clarity and support. They need your confidence and optimism. They need your honest and open assessment of the current and future impacts of this world crisis.

They also need your understanding. Many of them are suddenly trying to operate effectively in a whole new world: Working from home, possibly with children afoot, pets demanding attention, and the looming anxiety about what’s happening today….and what’s yet to come.

In the coming days and weeks, I will be writing short pieces to help you navigate these trying ties. I will help you lead your organizations through crisis. I will offer you tips for maintaining personal wellness and maintaining balance even as the world around us seems to spin at breakneck speed. I will be available to field your questions and concerns, to guide and help you in real time (albeit remotely).

Please email me any specific topics you’d like me to address in upcoming articles and videos. Call when you need me. I am here for you.

This is an unprecedented situation for all of us. Your steady hand and balanced leadership will make all the difference.
