36 Actions to Accelerate Success: Pay attention to how others perceive you. It matters.

In the face of a busy schedule, travel demands, a jammed inbox, and daily pressure to do more, it can be easy to deprioritize your personal branding. But knowing how you are seen by key stakeholders—your boss, colleagues, business partners, and customers—is essential.

Ask yourself:

  1. Have I earned the respect and recognition of those whose opinion matters most?
  2. Do they see me as I see myself—and as I want and need to be seen?
  3. How can I build upon the good while also addressing my shortcomings, whether “real†or perceived?

Take time to reflect, ask questions, and create a roadmap to a leadership brand that is true to you and earns the respect of others.

If you’re not convinced that slowing down is a vital part of increasing influence and impact, check out the rest of the ideas in my free ebook: Slow Down to Speed Up®: 36 Actions to Accelerate Success!
